Annie Girl Doll, Etta

Etta is clothed in a bright bold orange and green geometric print dress and matching turban. She holds a soft green shawl over her arm. Her dress is adorned with a black, orange and gold beaded necklace with a seashell broach. She carries a basket of oranges and straw. Measures 14 inches tall.

Michele Sapp is the artist who creates these wonderful dolls called, "Annie's Girls". Michele's Grandmother, Annie, was a very independent, proud and spirited African-American woman who never forgot her humble beginnings. She was blessed with a loving family, wealth of talent and the amazing gift of "creating something from nothing". She saw beauty in the most common of objects. These One-Of-A-Kind Dolls are a tribute to her unique gifts and vision. It is Michele's hope that they embody the regal beauty and enduring spirit of not only her grandmother, but that of all women as well.
